This painting, by Australian artist Randall Wilson, depicts a 30 Sqn. Beaufighter carrying out an attack at mast-head height on a Japanese Troop Transport during the Battle of the Bismarck Sea.  Supported by American B25 Mitchell Bombers, the Beaufighters carried out devastating low-level attacks that resulted in the destruction of the convoy.  Prints of this painting will soon be available from the museum at a cost of $35.00 each.
