The Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) was established in 1936, to provide Australia with the capability to produce military aircraft and engines. The Museum has the most complete collection of CAC aircraft in the world, with some being the oldest or only survivors. Post war, CAC diversified into many other areas including housing, bus bodies, saucepans and pressure cookers and much more.
