Membership

The Australian National Aviation Museum would not exist without its strong Membership who provide ongoing financial support and through their voluntary efforts in the operation of the Museum and the restoration of the aircraft on display.

Our Membership base varies from Members joining to just support the Museum and its activities or they join to gain advantage of the year round entry to the Museum and its displays, Others join to actively get involved in the many and varied aspects of  the Museum and its restoration projects.

Besides the operation of the Museum, we always have significant aircraft restoration programs underway and a major project with our Aviation Documentation and Literature Archive always looking for people interested in helping.

Activities undertaken by the Museum Members include
  • Front Desk Operations – Ticketing, Sales & General Public Assistance.
  • Tour Guides – Providing brief history on the aircraft on display
  • Restoration – Actively work on the Restoration of existing exhibits and aircraft being restored in preparation for display
  • Archivists – Documenting and indexing the vast array of aviation related literature that is in the Museums possession.
  • And more – If you have a skill we can probably use it.

If you are interested in Aviation, and are interested in becoming involved, become a member, every activity is supported by experienced members who will guide you and ensure you get the information/skills required.

Of course just becoming a Member is a excellent way to support the museum.

Membership costs $45.00 per year or $30.00 per year for Concession holders.

Membership provides you with unlimited entry to the Museum for yourself and your immediate family and copies of our Quarterly Museum Magazine “Insight”.  Memberships are renewed June 30 each Year.
