ULA Wombat

PictureClick on image for larger version
The U.L.A Wombat was designed by Tony Peters at the U.L.A Industries premises at Goolwa South Australia in the early 1970s.

It was aimed as a tool for farmers to use in a property surveillance role.

Fifty seven of the machines were built between 1975 and 1985, mainly at Goolwa with a few being built under licence in Western Australia.
The Museum's Wombat was built in Western Australia and was acquired in 1990 and is currently in storage at Moorabbin.
