ULA Wombat
The U.L.A Wombat was designed by Tony Peters at the U.L.A Industries premises at Goolwa South Australia in the early 1970s.
It was aimed as a tool for farmers to use in a property surveillance role.
Fifty seven of the machines were built between 1975 and 1985, mainly at Goolwa with a few being built under licence in Western Australia.
The Museum's Wombat was built in Western Australia and was acquired in 1990 and is currently in storage at Moorabbin.
